Director Marc Masciandaro graduated Magna Cum Laude from the College of New Jersey with
a B.A. in Literature and Philosophy. Writer of three feature-length screenplays, he made his direc-
torial debut with 3 Ceilings, an anti-romantic comedy that earned him 1st place in the Short Film
Slam at the Pioneer Theatre.

Marc has since written and directed three cutting-edge short films, including the awarding-winning
Happy Ending, a visual and verbal palindrome that premiered along with Crash at the Newport
Beach Film Festival in April of 2005. He is currently in preproduction on Cipher, a surrealistic tale
about an unnamed prisoner who attempts to use mathematics to escape his torturers. A published
poet and DGA member, Masciandaro also works for ABC News as the Art Director on "Nightline."
